Our wide range of cobalt-base metal-cored wires is suitable for both automatic and semi-automatic applications. The standard alloys are used for MIG/metal-cored and solid welding whilst specially modified versions can be used for open arc welding.

  • Excellent for corrosion resistance, wear and galling

  • Most flexible and widely used of the cobalt alloys due to overall performance

  • Retains hardness up to 930ºF (500ºC)

WT-6 Metal Cored Wire (GMAW)

  • Chain Saw Bars

  • Saw Teeth

  • Extrusion Dies


  • Very high chromium, high carbon, high tungsten

  • High resistance to corrosion and galling at elevated temperatures

  • Maintains hardness up to 1300ºF (700ºC)

  • Intermediate alloy between WT-1 and WT-6
