Proven to be the most versatile of hardfacing alloys, Weartech’s cobalt- and nickel-based alloys are specially formulated to resist a wide range of hostile environments including abrasion, corrosion, galling, oxidation and erosion. They are able to maintain their hardness at temperatures of up to 1500°F (800°C) and have been proven to be useful in industries ranging from aerospace to petrochemical. The compounds in the structure of Weartech alloys that contribute to wear and oxidation resistance vary according to the alloy system. Some of the common alloy systems Weartech offers are Co-Cr-W, Co-Cr-Mo, Co-Mo-Si, Ni-Cr-B and Ni-Cr-Mo.
